How to Use Multiple Domain Strategy to Help Your Brand Rank on Google

Do you want to get your brand to rank on the first page of Google for hard keywords like “Best Crypto App” without using Google Ads?

If so you gotta be down with O.P.P 😂

That’s right Other Peoples Property and use a Multiple Domain Strategy to make this happen. 💸

A Multiple Domain Strategy is when you use a partner’s website or several different website properties that you own to rank for the same keyword. 🎓

When MoneyLion launched their Crypto product we wanted to rank for “Best Crypto App”.

At the time Benzinga had a page that ranked for the term in position three on the first page of Google.

I negotiated a deal and got MoneyLion added to the page. 🥋

As a result MoneyLion instantly skipped the line and used Other People’s Property (OPP).To rank for “Best Crypto App” and over 800 other keywords. 🤑

When people clicked the MoneyLion logo it leads to the Crypto Product page.
I use UTMS in the URL with BenzingaSEO as one of the ways to track performance.

At an amazing cost per lead. BenzingaSEO also quickly climbed to the top ten
referral sources according to Google Analytics. 📈

A company call Red Ventures uses a Multiple Domain Strategy as part of their business model.They own many brands and they use them to rank on Google for hard keywords

If you type in “Best Airline Credit Card” Bankrate, CNET, and the Points Guy all rank for the word on the first page of Google.This drives an enormous amount of traffic and leads to multiple domains that Red Venture owns.

In a third example, the CMO for Resorts World Casino wanted to rank for the keyword “New York Casino.”

Since we were doing both Google Ads and SEO for them we were able to take the Multiple Domain Strategy to another level.

RW owns two domains in New York. We used the Catskills and the Queens NY websites to make sure that they ranked in both Google Ads and SEO. We Integrated Search and used Multiple Domain names to rank for “New York Casino”

This put a lot of heads in beds, saved them money in Google Ads and push their competitors lower on the page. 🏦

In summary, if you want to rank for really hard keywords, use Other People’s Properties who are already ranking to skip the line. If you own Multiple Domains, you can leverage them to stack the rankings and dominate
Searches for revenue driving keywords.
